We have some important news that will affect Freelance Review in a pretty large way. We have outgrown our current hosting space and will be moving to Media Temple soon. Essentially, if we don't move, we can't keep posting. The bad news is, our site is probably going to be down for 1-2 weeks while we get things sorted out. I realize this is highly inconvenient for our readers and advertisers (and us). On the bright side, there are a few benefits to this: first of all, Freelance Review will officially become a Wordpress blog, which we are excited about. We have been using Business Catalyst's blog feature, which I don't really recommend for a large blog. The Wordpress community is so much bigger, we can't resist the cool features any longer. Things like comments and social promotion will actually work much better once the new WP version of Freelance Review is up. We'll also have a new design to unveil as part of a general re-brand of all C McConnell Design sites. More on that later, but we're going in a totally new direction which we hope will set us apart from all the other blogs out there. We'll also be focused on upping the quality of our writing and content in general and making the archives even more accessible. In conclusion, thank you to everyone who has been a part of the Freelance Review experience so far and thank you for your patience while we undergo this pain-in-the-butt hosting change. -Chris
